Simon (Trey) Hendershot | PresidentFBCA Board of Trustees Trey Hendershot

Born and raised in Gonzales, Texas, Mr. Hendershot is a native Texan and graduate of Texas A&M University. He received his B.B.A. in Business Management and was a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band and the Corps of Cadets. Trey was named Distinguished Military Graduate and upon graduation, received a commission as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army. Mr. Hendershot also served as a Judge Advocate General Officer for the 36th Brigade 50th Armored Division.  

Trey received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1987. Mr. Hendershot is currently the managing shareholder of the Houston-based law firm, Kerr, Hendershot & Cannon, P.C. where he leads the Business Law and Regulatory sections. Trey is a member of the Texas State Bar and American Health Lawyers Association. He and his wife, Cherie, reside in Fort Bend County where they are active at Sugar Creek Baptist Church and with multiple local charities. They have three daughters, one who graduated in 2016 and two who currently attend Fort Bend Christian Academy.


Alicia Scala | Vice PresidentAlicia Scala

Alicia Scala was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University and went on to earn her Masters in Health Care Administration from TWU.  Alicia worked as an RN for many years, eventually transitioning to leadership roles at various hospitals and health care institutions. She helped start up an outpatient surgery center as the Chief Executive Officer and two hospitals as the Chief Nurse Officer before leaving her last position as CNO with St. Luke’s Sugar Land Hospital to be a stay at home mom. Alicia has many years of experience working as a senior leader with multiple boards and wants to use this knowledge and expertise to help Fort Bend Christian Academy be successful in line with God’s perfect plan for the school. 

Alicia and her husband, Ed, have one son, Eddie Scala, Jr., who is in elementary school at Fort Bend Christian Academy. They attend Sugar Creek Baptist Church where they have been members for many years. Alicia is active in the community, her church and serves on many volunteer committees at FBCA. Her desire is for God's grace and protection to cover Fort Bend Christian Academy. Alicia hopes that each student and graduate may enter the world knowing that they are a child of God and with His strength and guidance they can accomplish great things.


Jeff Smith | Secretary

Jeff Smith grew up in Conroe, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. While at Texas A&M, he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and served in the Ross Volunteers honor guard for the governor of Texas. Upon graduation, Mr. Smith joined Arthur Andersen & Co.’s Houston office audit division holding the position of Senior Auditor before his departure in 1988. Jeff joined Baker Hughes Incorporated in 1998, a supplier of oilfield services, products, technology and systems to the oil and natural gas industry worldwide, where he served as Senior Internal Auditor to operations worldwide. Jeff joined BJ Services Company as Financial Reporting Manager in 1990. BJ Services Company supplies pressure pumping (fracturing and cementing) and oilfield services to the oil and natural gas industry worldwide. He held numerous positions within the company, with his last position as Senior Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Smith currently serves as a private investor and provides independent consulting services to the oilfield services industry, and is an active member of the Mays Business School Development Council, Texas A&M University.

Jeff and his wife, Christine, have two children.  Their son, Taylor, graduated from Fort Bend Christian Academy in 2014 and is currently attending Texas A&M University. Their daughter, Julia, is a senior at Fort Bend Christian Academy.


Josh LaRocca | TreasurerFBCA Board of Trustees Josh LaRocca

Mr. LaRocca has been a resident of Sugar Land for nearly 20 years, including being an active participant in the FBCA community for the past 11 years. A graduate of Rice University, Josh earned a B.A. triple major in Pre-Med, Exercise Science and Political Science. Since graduation from Rice, Josh has been a member of the Greater Houston commercial real estate industry, currently as a founding Principal of the Avison Young Houston office. Before beginning his full-time real estate career, Josh participated in the NFL-Europe professional football league, as well as brief stints with the NFL’s Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys. During his tenure at Rice University, Josh was the starting quarterback and team captain, as well as Academic All-Southwest Conference in both his junior and senior years. In his junior year, he led the football team to the Southwest Conference championship.

Married for 21 years, Josh and his wife, Jenn, have one child, Owen, who is currently a ninth grader at FBCA. Josh and Jenn are active participants in the Sugar Land community, including being members of The Bridge Fellowship Church. Josh’s other activities include acting as vice chairman of the City of Sugar Land’s Zoning Board of Adjustment, an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and recently completing a three-year tenure as president of Sugar Land Little League. Josh maintains a lifetime membership in Rice University’s prestigious “R” Association. 


Joe DavisJoe Davis

Joe Davis is co-owner of L.C. Eldridge Sales Co., LLC and manages day-to-day operations of the company. He is also co-owner of Leseman Davis, LLC, a patent holding company, and is the inventor and owner of four U.S. Patents. Mr. Davis’ companies are involved in the business of industrial ventilation and noise control for land-based and offshore based applications around the world.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Management from Grantham University. In addition to his position on the Fort Bend Christian Academy Board of Trustees, Mr. Davis also serves on the Building Committee at Cornerstone Community Bible Church and is former Athletic Director and Board Member of the Pecan Grove Gators Football organization.

Joe and his wife Robin have two graduates of Fort Bend Christian Academy, a daughter who graduated in 2015 and a son, class of 2013.


Terrence GeeTerrence Gee

Terrence Gee is a native Houstonian and 1986 graduate of Rice University. After a 22 year career with the management consulting firm Accenture, Terrence founded Trilogee Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm where he serves as managing partner.

Terrence serves as a trustee of Brentwood Baptist Church and the Prairie View A&M Foundation, in addition to serving on the boards of Child Advocates, Spring Spirit Baseball, and The Texas Dragon Boat Association.

Terrence and his wife Terri have a daughter who graduated in 2016 and two boys currently attending Fort Bend Christian Academy.


Bob PageBob Page

Bob Page is a retired United States Air Force Brigadier General who most recently served as the Deputy Chief of Chaplains of the United States Air Force from 2012 to 2016 and as a member of the Armed Forces Chaplains Board.

Chaplain (Brig. Gen.) Page received his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) at Louisiana State University in 1973 where he obtained a B.A. in History. He completed his undergraduate navigation training at Mather Air Force Base, Calif. in 1975 and served as a navigator, instructor navigator and Standards and Evaluation senior navigator. Page continued his education at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California, earning a Master of Public Administration in 1978.

Page left active duty in 1980 to attend Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas where he received a Master of Divinity degree. After graduation, he served as a pastor and as a chaplain in the Air National Guard and Army Reserves. 

Page has received many major awards and decorations including the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit with two oak leaf clusters, Meritorious Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters and the Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters. He was inducted into the Louisiana State University Hall of Distinction and the LSU Hall of Honor for distinguished military service. He also holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, Illinois. 

Page currently serves as the President of Grace and Hope for Children and Pastor for Care Ministry at River Pointe Church in Richmond, Texas. He and his wife, Ruth, have a granddaughter who is a senior at FBCA. 



Christopher Roberts 

Chris has lived in Houston area for most of his life. He graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting/Finance. He earned his private pilot license after graduation and completed the Personal Financial Planning program at the Bauer College of Business, University of Houston.

He currently serves as the President of The Frontline Group, a privately held consulting firm, where he has worked in varying capacities for the past 12 years. Chris’ twenty-five years of experience in the oil and gas and health care industries include a broad range of experience in leadership, as well as various board positions in both non-profit and for profit organizations. He hopes to utilize this knowledge to better serve FBCA towards their motto of “believe. achieve. lead.”; with the goal of glorifying God and equipping our students to be leaders.

Chris and his wife, Lisa, have one daughter, Madeline who is in high school at Fort Bend Christian Academy. They attend WordServe Church in Fulshear Texas, where Chris has served on the church leadership council, and various committees. Chris credits his parents and their steadfast commitment to Christian values and significance of family, in defining who he is. They instilled the value and importance of serving the impoverished, less fortunate, and voiceless in all walks of life. He supports Living Water International and has made mission trips to Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Honduras over the past several years.


Jessica Williams

Jessica Williams was born and raised in East Texas. Jessica received an academic scholarship from Faulkner Christian University where she received her B.S. in Business Administration, graduating on the President’s List and Summa Cum Laude. Jessica used her business skills and entrepreneurial spirit to open her first business venture by the time she was 21 years old. The experience she gained from this adventure along with her educational experience gave her the expertise to maximize profits at various companies by implementing systematic, procedural and operational improvements. Jessica’s innovative marketing strategy and business development skills helped turn Texas Direct Auto into a multi-million dollar enterprise. She is active in the business world providing consulting services for various companies. 

Jessica and her husband, Richard, reside in Fort Bend County where they are active in many local charities. Jessica lends her experience and knowledge to Fort Bend Christian Academy where their two daughters, Juliet DeMarr and Clover Williams, attend. They are active members of Grace Presbyterian Church where Richard has been a member since grade school. Jessica looks forward to working hard as a board member of Fort Bend Christian Academy and providing the support, insight and vision the students, school and community expect. Fort Bend Christian Academy holds a special place in Jessica’s heart, and she is excited to see God’s plan unfold for the families and faculty of this great school.
