Welcome to Fort Bend Christian Academy

Our mission is to glorify God through excellence in college-preparatory Christian education.  We consider it an honor to partner with you in the education of your children, and we are eager to help you cultivate their spiritual, academic, social and emotional well-being.

Since 1987, Fort Bend Christian Academy has been deeply rooted in its Christian mission and values.  At FBCA, we believe God created every child uniquely in His image with a purpose and a plan for them to serve Him in their lives.  As such, we have a distinct responsibility to educate and empower our students with a mindset to serve Him both now and for eternity.  We want every student at FBCA:

  • To know Jesus Christ as Savior,

  • To mature in their faith and become more like Christ, and

  • To be fully equipped to serve Christ in their lives every day.

Today, the mission and spirit of FBCA is as relevant and thriving as ever before.  The school is made up of over 130 extraordinary Christian educators, who are dedicated to equipping young people to change the world for the Kingdom of God, and nearly 900 students in grades Pre-K through 12 who are learning to love God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength; to love others as themselves; and to learn to serve God first, in all areas of life and in whatever vocation they are ultimately led.

At FBCA, we believe God calls us to excellence, and we are committed to being among the leading independent Christian schools in the nation.  FBCA will provide your children with a premier educational experience that meets your families needs and desires for their growth in spiritual life, academics, arts and athletics.  At FBCA, your children will be known, loved and cared for by our amazing faculty and staff.

We invite you to join us on this journey, to learn more about FBCA and experience this special community and school firsthand.

We look forward to meeting your family soon!

HISTORY TIMELINE

Fort Bend Christian Academy, one of the largest private schools in Houston, began as Sugar Creek Baptist Church School (SCBCS) in September of 1987 with one teacher and seven kindergarten students. In 1992, the school changed its name to Fort Bend Baptist Academy (FBBA) and incorporated as an independent Christian school.

Because of rapid growth over the next 19 years, FBBA added Lower, Middle and Upper School buildings, an athletic complex and additional office and classroom space to its 35-acre campus.

In the summer of 2011, FBBA announced its official name change to Fort Bend Christian Academy, a name that represents who we are as a school, committed to our founding core Christian beliefs and principles and serving the entire Christian community.

It is our continual desire to serve and honor God in all that we do, fulfilling our mission and inspiring students to excellence for the glory of God.
