CFO and Interim Head of School Announcement

The FBCA Board of Trustees is pleased to share that Rene’ Cargile has been promoted to serve as FBCA’s Chief Financial Officer. Mrs. Cargile has served as the school’s Director of Finance since 2021. Her professional experience includes banking, accounting, and human resource management. She previously worked at FBCA from 2013 to 2018 in both Accounting and Human Resources. She has served on the Executive Leadership teams of both FBCA and Vanderbloemen. Mrs. Cargile holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma State University. She is also the mother of two FBCA alumni.

As CFO, Mrs. Cargile will continue to oversee the school’s business operations and will support the school’s Facilities and Information Technology departments. This expanded role is reflective of the organizational structures of our peer schools and is prudent given FBCA’s size, complexity, and expansion projects.

Effective July 1, Mrs. Cargile will begin serving as FBCA’s Interim Head of School.  As Interim Head of School, she will serve as the school’s primary liaison to the Board, coordinate the activities of the school’s Executive Leadership Team, and have authority for cross-campus decision making and alignment.  During this transitional period, Division Heads will also have expanded responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Lower, Middle, and Upper School campuses.
