FBCA Students Shine at PSIA State Academic Meet

Fort Bend Christian Academy students showcased their talents at the Private Schools Interscholastic Association (PSIA) academic competition on Saturday, April 26. The event brought together young scholars from across the region to compete in a variety of challenging academic contests.

Several FBCA Lower School students earned top honors in their events:

  • Irene Cherian (5th grade) placed 1st in Art Memory.

  • Kendrick Bassey (6th grade) took 1st place in Spelling.

  • Kirby Pizzitola (3rd grade) earned 2nd place in Storytelling.

In addition to these accomplishments, several students proudly represented FBCA in other categories:

  • Molly Brennan (6th grade) participated in Oral Interpretation – Prose.

  • Milcah Mathew (3rd grade) competed in Ready Writing.

  • Sadie Ashcraft (3rd grade) took part in Music Memory.

PSIA is a respected academic competition program for elementary and middle school students across Texas. With events spanning math, science, writing, music, art, and more, the program fosters academic excellence and confidence in young learners.

FBCA is proud of all the students who participated and represented the school with integrity, enthusiasm, and excellence.
