Two Upper School Students Selected as 2024 TheatreFest Featured Performers
Upper School Junior Honors Production Theatre students Junior Gabby Anthony and Junior Zachary Rudge were selected to perform at the Convocation Ceremony at the Texas Educational Theatre Association’s annual TheatreFest in Galveston this September. They participated in a competitive statewide vocal and choreography audition and application process and were among just 15 students selected to perform. Gabby and Zachary will rehearse over the next few weeks for this honor and also have the chance to perform at the Closing Ceremony of TheatreFest.
"It has been so exciting to watch Gabby and Zach grow as performers over their years in the Upper School. From leading shows to directing scenes and creating choreography, they have truly become leaders among their peers in our program. Getting to perform on the mainstage at TxETA is a huge honor, and I'm thrilled they get to share their God-given talents with our greater community," FBCA Theatre Arts Teacher, Sarah Patterson said.
Congratulations to these two performers for their hard work and for representing FBCA on the main stage at TheatreFest!
