How to Apply

For families who are interested in being considered for the 2022-2023 school year, please contact the FBCA Office of Admissions at (281) 263-9105 before completing an application to FBCA. 
 
The application for the 2023-2024 school year is now open!

For the 2023-2024 school year, Fort Bend Christian Academy will utilize Ravenna, a web-based application service. To start the application process, visit the Ravenna website where you will create an account and complete a common profile. Once your account has been created with Ravenna, you will be directed to FBCA's admission application. Note: Ravenna's common profile is used to gather information for Ravenna's system and is not part of FBCA's admission application. 

The 2023-2024 school year application in Ravenna will open on Monday, October 3, 2022.

Before beginning your application, please read information about our Admissions Process (below) as well as download the Ravenna Guide. In Ravenna, you will be able to:
  • Submit the application for Admissions and $100 application fee for each child you are applying for at FBCA.
  • Sign-up for upcoming Admission Events and/or Campus Tours.
  • Complete the appropriate admissions testing for each child.
  • Request Transcripts & Recommendations
  • Upload any special documentation such as psychological testing, 504, IEP etc. 

Once all the above documents and materials have been submitted, then the Admissions Office will send you a sign up link to schedule your Division Interview.

Steps to Admissions

Please click on your child's grade level to learn more about the steps to apply to FBCA.

Lower School

List of 2 items.

  • PreK/Four - Kindergarten

    All PreK-4 applicants must be 4 years old by September 1, 2023. All Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old by September 1, 2023.

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button. 
    2. Submit one (1) Teacher Recommendation.
    3. For Kindergarten applicants only, copies of progress reports or grades from your child’s pre-school (if any documents are available). 
    4. Admissions Testing is required for all Pre-K thru Kindergarten applicants.  Registration for Lower School testing dates will begin in November through your MyFBCA portal. Please contact the Office of Admissions for more information. All PK-4th grade applicants will be assessed a testing fee at the time of registration.

    Once all of the above items are submitted to FBCA, the Admissions Office will reach out to you about scheduling an interview with the Lower School Administration.
  • Grade 1-4

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button. 
    2. Grades from the current school year and previous two (2) years (if applicable). If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE.
    3. Admissions Testing is required for all first grade thru fourth grade applicants.  Please contact the Office of Admissions for more information. All PK-4th grade applicants will be assessed a testing fee at the time of registration.

      Once all of the above items are submitted to FBCA, the Admissions Office will reach out to you about scheduling an interview with the Lower School Administration.

Middle School

  • Grades 5 - 8

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button. 
    2. Three recommendation forms must be completed: Math, English and Extracurricular. The Extracurricular recommendation form can come from a pastor, church leader, coach, employer, drama/theater director/instructor, teacher/coach, volunteer supervisor, etc. who can speak to your child’s life outside of the classroom and school. You also have the option to send each required recommendation form directly to the recommender via the MyFBCA parent portal. 
    3. Grades from the current school year and previous two years. If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE. First semester of current grades must be submitted to the Office of Admissions before the file will be reviewed for a decision by FBCA.
    4. Applicants are required to submit scores from the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). Applicants will register for the ISEE through www.iseetest.org. Fort Bend Christian Academy is a closed testing site. Alternatively, students may take this exam at Education Specialists, LLC, Prometric Test Centers, virtually from their home, or any school offered as a test site.

    Once all of the above items are submitted to FBCA, the Admissions Office will reach out to you about scheduling an interview with the Middle School Administration.

Upper School

  • Grades 9 - 12

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘apply now’ button. 
    2. Three recommendation forms must be completed: Math, English and Extracurricular.
