Getting Started with an FBCA Education

The 2022-2023 Admissions Application is now open! The application can be found by clicking on the ‘apply now’ button. We look forward to connecting and working with you through the application process. 
 
Below you will find the important dates and deadlines for admissions:
  • ISEE hosted at Fort Bend Christian Academy. These two test dates are only available for those Middle and Upper School students applying to FBCA.  The code to register can be found through the student’s MyFBCA portal.
    • December 4, 2021
    • January 22, 2022
  • Priority Deadline: January 31, 2022
    • Students who submit all required documents by January 31, 2022 will be considered in the first round of admissions decisions.  
  • First Round Admissions Decisions Released by March 11, 2022

  • Houston Area Independent Schools (HAIS) Common Reply Date: March 31, 2022

Lower School

List of 2 items.

  • PreK/Four - Kindergarten

    All PreK-4 applicants must be 4 years old by August 1, 2022. All Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old by August 1, 2022.

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button. (Admissions Priority Date is January 31).

    2. Submit one (1) Teacher Recommendation.

    3. For Kindergarten applicants only, copies of progress reports or grades from your child’s pre-school (if any documents are available). 

    4. Admissions Testing is required for all Pre-K thru Kindergarten applicants.  Testing will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2022 or Saturday, February 12, 2022. In addition, test dates will be offered during the week throughout the spring. Registration for Lower School testing dates will begin in November through your MyFBCA portal. Please contact the Office of Admissions for more information. All PK-4th grade applicants will be assessed a $30/student testing fee at the time they are registered for a testing date.

    Once all of the above items are submitted to FBCA, the Admissions Office will reach out to you about scheduling an interview with the Lower School Administration.
  • Grade 1-4

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button. (Admissions Priority Date is January 31).
    2. Grades from the current school year and previous two (2) years (if applicable). If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE.
    3. Admissions Testing is required for all first grade thru fourth grade applicants.  Testing will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2022 or Saturday, February 12, 2022. In addition, test dates will be offered during the week throughout the spring. Registration for Lower School testing dates will begin in November through your MyFBCA portal. Please contact the Office of Admissions for more information. All PK-4th grade applicants will be assessed a $30/student testing fee at the time they are registered for a testing date.

Middle School

  • Grades 5 - 8

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button. (Admissions Priority Date is January 31).
    2. Three recommendation forms must be completed: Math, English and Extracurricular. The Extracurricular recommendation form can come from a pastor, church leader, coach, employer, drama/theater director/instructor, teacher/coach, volunteer supervisor, etc. who can speak to your child’s life outside of the classroom and school. You also have the option to send each required recommendation form directly to the recommender via the MyFBCA parent portal. 
    3. Grades from the current school year and previous two (2) years (if applicable). If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE. First semester of current grades must be submitted to the Office of Admissions before the file will be reviewed for a decision by FBCA.
    4. Applicants are required to submit scores from the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). Applicants will register for the ISEE through www.iseetest.org. FBCA will offer two test dates for students to take the ISEE on our campus: Saturday, December 4 and Saturday, January 22. Fort Bend Christian Academy is a closed testing site. The code to take the ISEE at FBCA can be found through the MyFBCA portal. Alternatively, students may take this exam at Education Specialists, LLC, Prometric Test Centers, virtually from their home, or any school offered as a test site.

    Once all of the above items are submitted to FBCA, the Admissions Office will reach out to you about scheduling an interview with the Middle School Administration.

Upper School

  • Grades 9 - 12

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘apply now’ button. (Admissions Priority Date is January 31).
