Admissions Process

All PreK-4 applicants must be 4 years old by September 1, 2025. All Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025.

1. Submit an online application and $100.00 non-refundable application fee. (Admissions Priority Date is January 13, 2025.)
2. Submit one (1) teacher recommendation.

3. Submit one (1) Church-Affiliated Recommendation from a church leader/teacher, church connection, faith group, or religious association. This recommendation helps us to understand how your family's faith journey aligns with FBCA’s Statement of Faith. 

4. Grades from the current school year and previous two (2) years (if applicable). If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE.

As part of the admissions process, pre-kindergarten through first grade students will be required to complete two phases of admissions assessments, an Individual Evaluation and Admissions Testing. Registration for both Assessments is in the Admissions Portal.

• The Individual Evaluation will take place during the school day (Monday - Friday) at FBCA. The evaluation will take approximately one hour to complete. 
• The Admissions Testing will take place as a group on a Saturday morning for approximately two hours. A $50.00 testing fee will be assessed for each child at the time of registration for Admissions Testing.

Pre-K - first grade applicants are required to complete both phases of testing.

Once all of the above items are submitted, FBCA will review your completed application and may schedule a Family Interview.

As part of the FBCA admissions process, testing is required for all second through fourth grade Lower School applicants.  Admissions Testing will take place on a Saturday morning for approximately two hours and families can register through the Admissions Portal. A $50.00 testing fee will be required for each child at the time of registration for Admissions Testing.

Once all of the above items are submitted, FBCA will review your completed application and may schedule a Family Interview.

You also have the option to send each required recommendation form directly to the recommender via the Admissions Portal. 

3. Submit one (1) Church-Affiliated Recommendation from a church leader/teacher, church connection, faith group, or religious association. This recommendation helps us to understand how your family's faith journey aligns with FBCA’s Statement of Faith. 

4. Grades from the current school year and previous two years. If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE. First semester of current grades must be submitted to the Office of Admissions before the file will be reviewed for a decision by FBCA.

5. Applicants are required to submit scores from the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). Applicants will register for the ISEE through www.iseetest.org. Fort Bend Christian Academy is a closed testing site. Alternatively, students may take this exam at Education Specialists, LLC, Prometric Test Centers, virtually from their home, or any school offered as a test site.

Once all of the above items are submitted, FBCA will review your completed application and may schedule a Family Interview.

For grades closed due to capacity, applicants with completed applications may enter the wait pool. As space becomes available, the Admissions Office will notify families in the wait pool if their student(s) have been selected for the current year’s enrollment.
