Award-Winning Performances

The Fort Bend Christian Academy award-winning Theatre Department performs multiple plays and musicals at both the middle and upper school level each year. Some past productions include: The Wizard of Oz, Into the Woods, Les Mis, The Miracle Worker, 12 Angry Men and The Taste of Sunrise.

When we were awarded first place in state, it was a surreal experience. All the work we had put into the show had finally paid off. It never would have happened without our theatre teacher pushing us to become better actors and really take this play seriously.

In November 2016, FBCA Upper School Theatre advanced, for the first time in school history, to the TAPPS One-Act Play Championship, and their outstanding performance of Twelve Angry Jurors, a play about a jury forced to reconsider its nearly unanimous decision, earned them the title of State TAPPS One-Act Play Champions.

The FBCA Theatre Department holds rehearsals and performances on the stage in the FBCA Lower School Cafetorium.
