Spiritual Life and Service

We honor God courageously.

Fort Bend Christian Academy seeks to live out our mission of excellence in Christian education. Faculty and staff work diligently in the hopes that students and families may experience the biblical truths that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that in love He gave His life so that we may have an eternal relationship with Him. Within this intentional culture students and adults can develop an authentic faith that inspires them to take action and serve others.

Christian education at all levels includes biblical teaching, Scripture memory, biblical character formation and a large view of the nature of God. As students mature, their experience expands to include Bible as a class while they also continue to encounter biblically-based teachings in their other classes. By the time they reach the upper school, learners interact with the theology department in semester-long classes that will continue to prepare them to own their faith as they leave for college.

Chapel

Students in every grade level participate in a weekly chapel with their campus. Weekly chapels encourage the individual and the community to grow in Christ through an intentional and meaningful worship experience centered in biblical teaching and worship.

Student Bible Study

In addition to the biblical instruction in the classroom, students have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular Bible study groups available for boys and girls based on grade level.

Eagle Week

Every spring, FBCA upper school students participate in Eagle Week, a unique opportunity to serve locally or internationally and to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people living thousands of miles away or just down the road. For more information about Eagle Week, visit the blog.

Moms in Prayer

For over 20 years, moms have gathered together at Fort Bend Christian Academy to pray for students, teachers, the school and each other. According to their website, the mission of Moms in Prayer International (MIP) is "to impact children and schools worldwide for Christ by gathering mothers to pray." Moms in Prayer meets on campus weekly. All moms are welcome and encouraged to attend.
