Lower School Students Create Storybook Pumpkins

Throughout the week of October 19, Fort Bend Christian Academy Lower School students took part in a storybook pumpkin decorating contest.
Students were tasked with decorating and delivering a pumpkin modeled after one of their favorite storybooks from the library. Books included were The Rainbow Fish, Minions, The Good Egg, The Lorax, The Cat in the Hat, Cinderella, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, How to Catch a Unicorn and more! 

This pumpkin decorating also had an element of competition, with multiple winners! 

For Pre-K and Kindergarten, 1st place went to Noah G. and 2nd place went to Niko V. For First and Second Grade, 1st place went to Elijah P. and 2nd place went to Alden K. For Third and Fourth Grade, 1st place went to Lynley P. and 2nd place went to Brody M. Kallie C. won Most Creative, Brooklyn H. won Most Original, Abigail J. C. won Best Craftsmanship, Ryan Y. won Best Hair, and Logan H. won Silliest.
