Fort Bend Christian Academy Student-Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent to Continue Athletic Careers at Collegiate Level

Fort Bend Christian Academy students and families gathered on campus on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, to celebrate two outstanding athletes as they signed National Letters of Intent to play sports at the collegiate level. One FBCA athlete signed to play lacrosse and two athletes signed to play football.
Elizabeth Muller has committed to play Division III Lacrosse in the Southern Athletic Association for Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Her current select team is Grit Houston. She has played Lacrosse at Lamar High School for four years, but began playing the sport at a young age. Her favorite memories of the sport include winning her last select tournament with her best friends in Palm Springs, California. Elizabeth has seen many accolades throughout her lacrosse career with her high school and select teams.

Marcus Chretien has committed to play Division I Football in the Big Sky Conference for Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Marcus has been playing football for the past 13 years, most recently with the FBCA Eagle Football Team. One of Marcus’ favorite memories is winning District for the first time in FBCA school history as an FBCA Eagle. Marcus’s Football accolades include 2nd team All State and two-time 1st team All District.

Jaylon Belford has committed to play Division I Football in the Southwestern Athletic Conference for Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama. Jaylon has played Varsity Football at FBCA for 1 year and plays for the Texas Team Elite 7on7 club football team as well. Jaylon’s favorite overall football moment was placing 3rd in Nationals 7on7 tournament, and his favorite moment in FBCA football was beating Second Baptist in the 2021 season. Jaylon’s football accolades include UIL 6A 1st Team All-District and TAPPS Division 2 2nd Team All-District.

Elizabeth, Marcus, and Jaylon are extremely talented, and make the FBCA community proud,” said Aaron Carpenter, FBCA Interim Director of Athletics.  “We are very excited to see what lies ahead for these dedicated student-athletes as they continue at their respective universities.”
