Varsity Girls Track Relay Team Shatters School Records and Showcases FBCA Talent at the State Level

This past weekend, our Varsity Track team had a stellar weekend in Austin at the Texas Relays.
The girls relay teams were on fire this past weekend. They competed in six extremely competitive and difficult heats in two days, where they broke three school records in the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 relays.
Head Track Coach Deon Minor has been a substantial part of helping to guide this team to so many milestones this season. “I am super proud of their performances,” Minor said. “The highlight of the weekend was the girls winning the 4x200 relay overtaking Dallas Carter for the victory in a time of 1:41.79.”

After winning the 4x200 relay, the girls relay team came back in less than two hours and finished third overall in the 4x100 relay (48.04). On the final race of the day, the 4x400 relay, the team closed out an already historic day for the Lady Eagles by finishing runner-up in the 4x400 relay (3:58.79).
