“The mark of our souls as teachers places us as artists to collectively give our students the hope & idea of forging truth within discovering a personal kind of art, about hope, restoration, refuge while maintaining visual sophistication and intellectual integrity to create a growing movement, one which finds our students working together as a vanguard.”

“This year we charged our students to be sensitive to the energy that is revealed through creation, growing from the powerful forces of creation & destruction. Make your marks towards discovery and allow the notion that states, ‘in order to draw or sculpt, create, and capture an image powerfully the artist must be willing to get into trouble.’ Our students got out of their comfort zones to essentially develop powerful works of art with a story.  Our State Championship continues the legacy of the arts in guiding students to go from the invisible to the visible to capture our 9th State Championship.  We are honored to have been a part of their journey to create art because God placed the right students at the right time so that we could boast in the work of His Hands for this State Championship.”
