Madelyn Pozzi was named the Fort Bend Christian Academy Class of 2022 Valedictorian.
Madelyn Pozzi has attended Fort Bend Christian Academy (FBCA) for 14 years since Pre-Kindergarten and has been a member of a wide variety of school organizations, including the Varsity Swim team, Rho Kappa Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Environmental Club, Thespian Society, National Honor Society, and Student Council. She has served as president of Rho Kappa, president and founder of the Environmental Club, vice president of the Thespian Society, and vice president of Mu Alpha Theta.
Pozzi has earned recognition for her outstanding performance in her various activities. She was awarded the Soaring Eagle Award in grades 9 and 11, and Academic Excellence awards in AP Physics, AP English Language Literature, Honors World History, Honors Geometry, and News Testament Survey. She was also awarded $110,000 per year ($440,000 total) in merit scholarships from the colleges she applied to.
As part of Eagle Week, a service opportunity each spring in the upper school at FBCA, Pozzi has served her local community as well across the United States. She went to San Antonio as a freshman to assist at Arms of Hope, Los Angeles as a sophomore to work at the Dream Center, and Miami as a senior.
Her favorite FBCA memories include Camp Eagle in the eighth grade, all of the musicals she performed in at FBCA (Peter Pan Jr., The Wizard of Oz, Matilda, The Sound of Music), and winning the TAPPS One-Act District Theatre Competition.
After obtaining a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California, she plans on pursuing a career in the fashion industry that helps to encourage sustainability.

Hung Dang Jr. has attended Fort Bend Christian Academy (FBCA) for 13 years and has been a member of a wide variety of school organizations, including National Honor Society (Historian), National English Honor Society (Secretary), National Science Honor Society, Rho Kappa (Secretary), Mu Alpha Theta, Interact Club, Computer Science Honor Society, Eagle Ambassadors, Spanish Club, Medical Club, Student Council, and the Computer Club.
Dang has earned recognition for his outstanding performance in his various activities. He is a Commended National Merit Scholar, received Academic Excellence awards in Introduction to Programming, Spanish II, Honors Algebra II, Scholar Athlete Award, AP Chemistry, and Honors Spanish IV, State Swim Qualifier, Athlete Christian Character award, and is an AP Scholar with Distinction.
As part of Eagle Week, a service opportunity each spring in the upper school at FBCA, Dang has served in San Antonio, North Carolina, and Alaska. Some of his favorite FBCA memories were on these trips, like playing Uno with his friends, running the sound board for worship in Alaska, and solving jigsaw puzzles in between service work in North Carolina.
After obtaining a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, he plans on pursuing a career in chemistry to help develop new vaccines.
