Getting Started with an FBCA Education
Thank you for your interest in applying for admission to Fort Bend Christian Academy. We look forward to working with your family throughout the application process.

Lower School

List of 3 items.

  • PreK Four

    1. Submit online application and $100 application fee.
    2. Submit one (1) Teacher Recommendation.
    3. Admission Visit: Applicants will attend a group visit day, scheduled by the Admission Office. This visit is typically held on a Saturday for one (1) hour. Parents will accompany their child to this visit and will stay in our waiting area for the duration of the visit. Note: PreK applicants must be four (4) years old by September 1, 2019.
  • Kindergarten - Grade 1

    1. Submit online application and $100 application fee (First application deadline: January 15).
    2. Submit one (1) Teacher Recommendation.
    3. Grades from the current school year and previous two (2) years (if applicable). If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE.
    4. Admission Testing and Visit: Applicants will be required to submit admission test results and come for a scheduled visit. Families have two (2) options for testing/visit day: 1) Applicants may submit admission test results for the WPPSI (Wechsler Preschool and Primary School of Intelligence). Students may take this exam at Education Specialists, LLC. For your convenience, please see the Letter to Parents and Student Information Form for parents. There will be a testing fee arranged with Education Specialists, LLC. Additionally, applicants will attend a group visit day, scheduled by the Admission Office. This visit is typically held on a Saturday in February for one (1) hour. Parents will accompany their child to this visit and will stay in our waiting area for the duration of the visit OR 2) Applicants may take an in-house assessment for Fort Bend Christian Academy readiness. Results from this test are not able to be shared with other schools. There is no testing fee for this option. Students will stay for a scheduled visit day following the in-house assessment. Kindergarten applicants must be five (5) years old by September 1, 2019. 
  • Grades 2 - 4

    1. Submit online application and $100 application fee (First application deadline: January 15).
    2. Submit one (1) Teacher Recommendation. Students may also submit one (1) extracurricular recommendation - this can come from anyone outside of an academic subject that works with that child individually or through a team sport (i.e., pastor, youth leader, coach or instructor).
    3. Grades from the current school year and previous two (2) years (if applicable). If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE.
    4. Admission Testing and Visit: Applicants will be required to submit admission test results and come for a scheduled visit. Families have two (2) options for testing/visit day: 1) Submit admission test results for the WISC IV. Students may take this exam at Education Specialists, LLC. For your convenience, please see the Letter to Parents and Student Information Form for parents. There will be a testing fee arranged with the Education Specialists, LLC. Additionally, a school visit will be arranged by the admission office; this visit is typically held during a school day OR 2) Applicants may take an in-house assessment for Fort Bend Christian Academy readiness. Middle School

FBCA will offer one (1) test date for students to take the ISEE on our campus: Saturday, January 20. Alternately, students may take this exam at Education Specialists, LLC, Prometric Test Centers or any school offered as a test site.
    5. Applicants and their families will schedule an interview with the Admission Office once the application has been submitted. In addition, applicants may shadow at FBCA once they have been admitted. Please call the Admission Office at 281-263-9105 to schedule your student’s interview.

Upper School
