Three FBCA Art Students Selected For Prestigious National Exhibit

Three FBCA students' pieces (Julia Marrow, Surrell Taylor, and Aidin Rhodes-Hug) were selected out of 2,410 entries to be included in the eighth annual National Art Honor Society/National Junior Art Honor Society (NAHS/NJAHS) Juried Exhibition, organized by the National Art Education Association (NAEA).

The annual national exhibit showcases the artwork of talented student artists who are members of the NAHS/NJAHS programs.  This competitive exhibit provides an opportunity for students to display their artwork through NAEA’s national and global exposure.

These three FBCA students had artwork accepted into the 2023 NAHS/NJAHS Juried Exhibition:

Senior Julia Marrow- Submission title: Life By Life in Creation

Senior Surrell Taylor - Submission title: True North

Senior Aidin Rhodes-Hug - Submission title: The Inner Ring

NAEA received a record number of 2,410 submissions for the 2023 NAHS/NJAHS Juried Exhibition; 127 artworks were selected for inclusion. Representatives from Burren College of Art, California College of the Arts, California Institute of the Arts, College for Creative Studies, Delaware College of Art and Design, Maine College of Art and Design, Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Montserrat College of Art, Moore College of Art and Design, Otis College of Art and Design, Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, Pratt Institute and University of the Arts served as jurors for this exhibition.
